Unread postby JeepKing_JK » Thu Aug 20, 2015 3:49 pm

So I'd like to start planning for a minimum of 4 Wheeling Arizona Runs for this winter season. Please comment with areas you would like to go and once their is enough choices, I will create a poll..... :thumb:

Id like to do a family run, Buggy, wildcat and Comanche run something local but something low range like chivo or Char gap or both.

were doing Glamis dunes halloween and christmas Might do a 3rd trip in 16 but hoping for more dirt trips.

Id like to do a florence run afew of the harder trails I havent done in afew years. Would need to be a fast group do get through the miles. Would not mind doing them all in a day with a capable small group John, Lori, steve and ??. WW UW HH UA LOD AA OD BM maybe some MG

Have some undertakers runs planned for nov and dec. Gonna be a buzzy season.

April will be the WAZ josh memorial run

Need to fix my buggy trans and build a cage for the wildcat. Comanche is getting pretty respectable but will need to move to the back burner very soon.

I agree with the "Family Run" deal. Im thinking a run to the Falls. Real low key and just have fun. BBQ at the Cottonwoods.

Another Chad and I are thinking is one to the Gap but go to the Cabins with is quite tough at times.

Another would be another run at Table Mesa.

And another to Florence.

Ones that I personally would like to do is Payette Draw, Sycamore and Crown King.

I need to do a mammoth trip this season but not a good WAZ run, Easy roads like carpet hill or buggy trails not much middle ground.

We might have a guest group to play with. A high school friend of mine Brent Baxter, also featured in Crawl Mag this next issue has wanted to come down for a couple years now. He would bring his brother Brad Baxter also featured in Crawl along with their club MN4X4.

I'm thinking the perfect spot would be Florence to hold enough people. He's going to talk with the group and see who would be 100% and we can plan from there.

I'd love to host a run up and down sutherland or the gap. I can also do a easy florence run.

I have been wanting to hit up some of the florence trails for a while so if i'm free ill be down to go. I should be plenty capable. Im always up for the gap or chiva, chiva is much closer to me though.

I have a few hunts in october and november so my availability will be poor then, uncle same takes a weekend or so a month too. Other than that I'm down.

Dave,
John and I did that before his buggy self distructed. In your order. No LOD. Did not know about it then. We were at BM before noon. But there was a rig with a broken off knuckle stuck on the fall. I think we could do all now by lunch. Then back to MG for the finish.

I miss the miles of that fast paced run.

Would flow better to do MG earlier but could be the end of the day too, Not sure if its derivable with my low belly, youd have the best shot getting up it.

This forum has been slow, jeep king sold his JK the rest of us in this thread have buggies and run with our extreme club not this one very often.

AZ virtual jeep club is probably the best place for you to organize a trip down to AZ with some similarly build rigs.
