Possible Dirt Track in Southern Arizona???

Unread postby 78Blazer4x4 » Tue Jun 21, 2011 12:14 pm

I've talked to people who told me they go off road on this track near hwy 92 but I could never find it since I couldn't see it from the road. I was looking at this web page http://www.geomac.gov/viewer/viewer.shtml and they have more recent satellite imagery than Google. Attached is a snap shot of the area and it looks like a track. :scratching: Does anyone know anything about this. Is it a real place or just a place where houses are not built yet but people go and play.

Looks to me like an unfinished subdivision. That would be the reason for all the cul-de-sac roads. Part of it is even paved.

I know of Nomads and where it's at but that's a Dirt-bike / Quad track. I think this is what my friend was talking about but perhaps he went before any thing was more built than in the photo. Just seems really spread out and the roads follow the ridge lines with wash's between them. I'm going to go take a look this weekend if I can. They are still cleaning up from the fire though.
