Chile Challenge

Unread postby waterdog84 » Mon Nov 10, 2008 9:14 pm

Just a little food for thought, The Chile Challenge is going to be held February 18-22 2009. Anyone beside Tigmig and I going to make it? Let me know and we can get together and get on the same trails as the people we wheel with in Las Cruces.

You can do it with a 44 I did it twice! with a limited slip, all you need is a good partner that will pull you when you get hung up!! Thanks tigmig!!

That avatar is from the Whole Enchilada Fiesta, in Las Cruces. All of the people that were involved in that did a great job on the man made course. It was awesome!! Theres too many people to mention, but I think the top of the list are the Chavarias, the owners of Gary's auto and 4x4 in Las Cruces.

Depends on who stops you!!! :D We've only been bothered once and that was only because we were towing a broke rig with another. They told em to go back and get a trailer.

They have been working on it Adam. I think it only needs engine wired up and a few thing's bolted in. Might be ready for CC.

Gald to hear it. I think I will call Jeff and make him comit to the CC run. It will also be cool to make it out and not have 100lbs of mud to wash off after each run.

So, Do we have a list of who is going to make it. I need to submit for the Pass, would hate to try to slip by and get screwed in the mess. Especially with Toyman and I traveling in for this one.

Ok, something new on their page....

http://www.chilechallenge.org/

Unregistered vehicles, people, and spectators will NOT be allowed on the trails or in the canyons during the 2009 Chile Challenge. Only registered participants, their vehicles, and registered passengers will be allowed on the trails. In addition, the public will NOT have access to the (previously available) spectator areas.
