Yuma dunes for Thanksgiving .

Unread postby Twistedtrik » Thu Oct 18, 2007 6:20 pm

I know this isn't a crawling run, but there is more to wheeling than rocks :innocent: . We are leaving the Friday before Thanksgiving and coming back the Saturday after. I know that Adam ( rokncj8 ), Kelly, Scott Brown and his brood and myself and my family are going plus a crap load of other people from the area. This will be a trip you don't want to miss. :thumb:

Where 'bouts?

Ogilbe road exit is about 7mi in California. 2mi past the Check point. We will be under the tower off of Ogilby area.
Quick Directions: Cross into CA; Take the Ogilby road exit ( Right about 1 mi); Take a left before the tracks on the dirt road. Follow the road and power lines west towards the tower approx 4mi. Follow the road to the right at the 'Y'; when the road opens to a large camping area most of us from Sierra Vista will be camped towards the Left. Kelly and I will get in Sometime Sun. staying til the following Sun.

I wish I could make it. I haven't been to the dunes in probably 10 years.

Don't feel bad. With the price of fuel, I won't have any money when we get back.

:scratching: I would seem as though I already know some of you folks on here (Adam). Or more specifically you know my dad , Doug.
Unfortunately I'm not going to make this trip to the dunes as I'm stuck in a different sand box for another couple months. But I'll be ready and fired up for Easter!! Even got a couple new toys to play with. How many of yall will be out to the dunes for easter?

Thought that might be you. When do you get back? I should be able to make easter as well.
