5th Annual Josh Memorial Run The Boulders

Unread postby Ashman » Sun Apr 14, 2013 6:38 pm

Our trip started at a staging area near the Boulders OHV area. Between mile marker 8-9 north of the carefree highway 74.
Good times and a good turnout. I think we had 13 rigs.
Thanks for the pics Steve.

Friday night we did some night wheeling, Dropped in the wash right near camp and did lots of short loops, some good notches ledges and climbs, none have names good wheeling.
Afew took afew tries to find the line with the buggy so these optional lines were pretty substantial.

Sat I welded up Brandon's ripped off leaf spring mount on the Blue Jeep Comando and left camp at about 10am.
The group did 3 different loops and got back to camp about 5pm.

Defiantly some good trails out there, lots of hills, lots of cactus and lots of rock wash climbs.

My Son Joel (14) drove all day Sat, he did good for his first time driving the buggy.
