Finally did the Gap

Unread postby simon_s » Sun Nov 27, 2011 8:59 am

I finally drove the Charouleau Gap yesterday, taken me about a year to get round to it. Me and Chris crazysami went out in our zuks, oracle to catalina. There was some water in the creek. Had a lot of fun, nice scenery, relaxing trail with some fun option lines. Thanks to Chris for showing me the way!

Some pics here, nothing to extreme... http://www.flickr.com/photos/simon_slapstick/sets/72157628166000483/

And here's some of my favorites.

The Gap is cool trail to run. It's been a fixture in the Tucson area for many years and has gone through a lot of changes especially in the last couple of years. I used to live about 5 minutes from the base when I was in high school and we went up the Gap a lot. It's a different place, for sure, but still a great place. Glad you enjoyed it. :thumb:
