3rd Annual, Josh memorial run May 7th, Table Mesa

Unread postby Ashman » Mon May 09, 2011 11:24 am

We had a great time at the 3rd Annual Josh Memorial trail run.

Tom the new owner of Josh's FJ has been working hard on upgrades, a 383 motor swap, Th350 auto, adapter to the 205, and a ron davis radiator. Getting all the parts in time held back the project so he couldn't make this weekends run but he will be up and running soon.

I brought Joel as my co-driver/driver.
John, Lori
Toby
Tony
Steve

Friday night when I took Joel out on his Blaster motor seized (again), Fresh motor only got afew miles. That sucks.
I called John about 9pm they were lost, found them and got them into camp. Camp fire lead to Mickie Boms youll see in the video. Tony arrived at 8am, we set out of camp about 9am ish.

On Saturday we did Terminator I, Anaconda, Terminator II down, Annihilator (only my rig), Predator.
On Sunday we ran Anaconda again.

No carnage for all 5 rigs.

I got tons of good video Ill work on it nights this week, should be one of the best videos.

Looking forward to seeing the pics/vid! :bluebounce:

I'm totally bummed that I didn't get to come this year... I'll have to plan on dragging the junk back out next year! :naughty:

Dave thanks for pulling this run together! It was a great run and great people, awesome rigs!. Saturdays highlights were John and Lori's big ledge flip/flop, Dave cleaning both waterfalls on Annihilator and Joel driving the Cherokee. That freed up some Time for Dave’s videoing and camera sprint repeats he was doing most of the two days. It great to meet all you guys, look forward wheeling with you again.

I use the Roxio Mydvd, it was on my computer when I got it. I cant preview the video within the software I think I dont have enough RAM or something, I need to export it to an MPEG to view it then edit it. I burn it to a DVD on 2X then rip the DVD and load it to youtube using the .VOB file. Its more of learning how to use it so it dosent lockup or crash then how to video edit.
