I walked the whole trail and took pictures. The dirt road is very graded and fast, the first hair pin turn we could drop two trailers, up the hill and to the right we could drop one more trailer, alittle further we can drop two more trailers on the left, right at the trail head we can easily park three - four trailers on the right.

The first water fall is getting it. I think the easiest line is high on the left side, going up the middle I think will take a pretty good bump. Im not sure if my buddy will easily crawl it first try, I think it will but its hard to tell with out a rig on it for reference.

After the fall it is BOULDERS, you will have to 1 tire over boudlers 3ft tall. It is very likely diff grabbers will require winching in the group and some boudlers are big enough to get you tips and flop.

A second section of bedrock, the slop is easy and looks really cool.

At the top of that slab we need to turn left and drop in over the dirt mound, hard to see in the pictures. I walked it further and there is a getting it buggy only notch, after that there is a "Hole" completely undriveable.

This path heads back to the exit road, up a third v notch slab. Only afew harder obstacles.

Meet time is still TBD, I think we should meet at the Canyon general store at Herford and 92. Im thinking 9am meet up, but Tom has to drive really far and dont want him to have to leave ass early. Ill come down friday night.

The new condition of the trial is more difficult then I expected. It is harder then any trail we race at King of the Hammers. The fall is taller than back door and the boulder fields is harder than Spooners and outerlimits. I could see my self getting diffed out on 42s needing to winch.

I walked the whole trial up and down in 1 hour but I bet it will take a group of 5 or more 8 hours to do. I expect several needing to winch, high lifting and yank strapping over boulders and at least one flop.

I survived the Tucson race with no carnage and I am canceling my Moab trip because a house came on the market we had to offer on. Were staying in Vail just 2 miles from where we are now.

Whats our official rig count after seeing the condition of the trail?

You might have the toughest time, but compared to my low longer wheelbase it might be easier for you to get around the boulders.

The new sierra vista Fire in Brown Canyon is still growing, started Sunday and is up to 300 acres. Its pretty far north west of our planned area.
