woo hoo, pretty soon threads will outnumber the stickies....

so, I dunno, maybe a weekend update...

Didn't wheel... put exhaust wrap on the Scout to try and keep the floorboards cooler. Tried to hunt down the source of the little green puddle under the Powerstroke... no love...

Duct tape is like the Force. It has a light side and a dark side and it holds Tice's truck together.

I don't forget, my brain just disregards insignificant details in my sleep.

I hauled scrap to Bobo the junk man's house. I may have even consumed an extraordinary amount of alcoholic beverages. But I didn't get a single damn thing done to the Scout. Course, I need $$ for my new swamps before I can do much of anything.... :whip:

I know where I can save about $160 on one tire tho..... :D

What did you do to it? Just replace the rag? Do you have shackles or lift springs?

No, no... no crazy shackle lifts for this kid. You gotta be reeeeaaal careful when you play that game. Shure nuff makes a scary ride in a hurry.
4" superlift (spring) and stock shackles. @ same time I put a later model D44 front and rear in w/ power steer and brakes.
The rag was worn completely out. Makin about 1/8 turn play in wheel. Gonna tighten the steering box a little too before I take it back out.
Alignment was waaaaay toe out too. (Donor front was in a roll over.) Already brought it back in to tolerable amount (enough to drive it to a shop and git er done right when I get the new tires.)
