Here's the jist of things... I had a built Samurai and it was fun. But, just too small for my growing boys and didn't know how to afford anything else so I kept it. Then Lance died in a wheeling accident in Charleau Gap so that kinda pushed me to do something. Had it posted for a couple months and didn't want to let it go for 50% loss. So Chris helped me part it out. Technically he did everything and just handed me the money. Ended up only loosing about $600 overall and got about $7900 by parting it out. Anyways, bought a house, a divorce, a few girlfriends and 2 jobs later I traded a Tacoma in and got my 07 JKU. The best part is how I screwed the dealer getting it! I got them to sign an IOU for a set of wheels/tires from another JK on the lot and ALSO a 6" long arm kit! They had no idea! Should have seen their faces when they started looking up prices! FYI, $3700 for TeraFlex LA kit. Amatures.

After I broke her in I decided the factory fenders were a bit too much and made my own stubby front bumper. Bumper had to go after a few run ins at the step...

Found a money tree and grabbed some cheap wheels from Desert Rat. Grabbed a closeout ORFab stubby from $Wheel Parts. A Smittybilt 8K winch and also fabbed up a stinger off the front of the bumper instead of the top. I scored the 36" Cree from a guy in Morenci. Gave me a light bar and some cash in trade for my 33" Grabbers. :naughty:

Did you want to see all grown up pictures? :flipoff:

Scott dosnt the light bar on the hood bother your visibility? I like have one light bar down low like right on top of your winch. Separating the top and bottom light bars like mine will kill more shadows but some times that creates surprises.

Before I mounted I listened to a lot of complaints from others. It really doesn't take any visibility away really. Most JK owners have been putting them on the wiper bezel and that lights up the whole hood. I aimed it down a good bit and only casts about 30 ft in front of the jeep. 50" is pointed about 40ft out in front and lights up the heavens! So far so good and have no complaints really.
