Looks good, Dave, but don't get it too wide - it won't fit places! :doh!:

Trying some new tires.
Bought the Maxxis 37-12.5R Radial treps
Ive been very happy with the maxxis tires on the Buggy, dirt bike, quads and race BMX tires.

Not sure if Ill get the same miles as the Toyo MTs I took off, 45K miles.

Still need to take the lift off the truck.
Ive been tossing around the idea of replacing the front coil spring with an airbag and link/bag the rear.

I found the firestone W013585429 is 14in of travel and progressive spring rate
the W01358526 is also 14in travel but linear spring rate. This is the bag Kelderman uses on their Dodge Air bag 8-10in lift kit.

My goals would be to keep it low with lots of up travel. Have other higher priority project now that we moved to a new house.

Those last pics are the most current I have. I have not started the Air ride suspension yet or take the lift off. Other priorities are to finish Joels MJ that wont start due to pack rats we killed sunday, Ang's wildcat ADS shocks, belt temp gauge and belt blower, and My Buggy frame is cracked, RV needs some tinkering, Wont be till March till I can play with the Dodge again.

So far the maxxis treps have had good road ware at 50 PSI front and rear. Overall I like them better then the toyo MT. The Maxxis is a narrower tire so it fits the factory wheel better so it might give me more mileage. The lower load rating combined with the narrower tire allows me to run higher pressure in the Maxxis tires then I could in the Toyos for a flat is ware pattern on narrow stock wheels.

Discount tire has a new policy, its retarded, If I bought the toyos again they would not mount them on the OEM wheels, their computer tells them they cant mount them on a wheel that narrow. They think its a safety concern, though in real life it will only impact ware pattern not safety. They should only apply that policy on low profile tires, not 37in off road tires with large sidewalls.

Some stereo Mods, bought a new bezel and sawzalled the opening larger for a double DIN DVD deck.

Discount Tire is no different than Auto Zone. Idiots. :flipoff3:

And 6 months later I took the lift off. Its stock height front, and rear is 1.5in lower than stock. Technically I should no longer need mudflaps per AZ law.

Added an SSK fiberglass hood.

At no lift with the lift kit arms still on it the front tires hit the bumper so need to build a tube bumper next weekend.

I bought the mctuning light bar through amazon, dont see that size listed right now.

Joel bought a cheaper brand "lite way", for his truck. I dont like his at all it has one ground and one power, you have to cycle through all the light modes including strobe to switch between modes or let it rest and it defaults to white. Mine has one ground, one power for white and one power for amber.

cut the kick panel side of the front fenders larger and built up the fiberglass lip.

Made aluminum bed side rails and used JB weld for the little seam near the tailgate since I dont have a spool gun or tig for aluminum and several brackets welded to the bed. Is rock solid now. ready for paint.

Used my dad's guy lewis Ace autobody in sierra vista. Went to pick it up friday but there were some imperfections, he re-sprayed some problem areas saturday and picked it up today. He buffed it and looks really good. Its a chevy white that is brighter than the dodge oem color.

Blacked out the B-pillars and added 1/4in foam to the inner fenders for rock protection.

Some of the foam on the inner fenders already unstuck. need to come up with a better adhesive.

PITA to tape off the 11 hood scoops to paint the mesh black last weekend.
