Blazer for Sale

Unread postby gruveb » Tue Dec 09, 2003 9:09 pm

82 Blazer
GM Goodwrench 350 (2 years old)
Rebuilt Transmission w/ warranty
4.11 gears
Detroit Locker
Steering Box supports
Dropped Steering Arm
Dual Steering Stabilizers
35X15.5X15" TSL Bias ply Super Swampers
Rancho 9000 series shocks
Super Winch hubs
89 Front Clip
4" suspension lift (no blocks, all springs)
2" body lift
Dual Batteries
Tilt Steering, CD player

I have extra seats (leather) for the front, as well as a bazillion parts, including the AC system and I *believe* parts for everythign that is missing.

I bought this last summer. It was the guys' pride and joy, and he poured a bunch of money into it. Long story short, he moved and it wouldn't fit in his garage anymore, so he had to sell it.

This thing is a pure beast and lots of fun. It's got a cracked windshield and has some interior work to do (but I have all the parts and pieces), but other than that is all there.

No reasonable offer refused. BTW, $1500 isn't a reasonable offer.

I'll post pics later.

Well, it's kind of like this. I need to sell the vehicle, if I didn't, I wouldn't be. It's not because I don't like driving it, believe me. It's not smart business to reveal the lowest dollar figure possible.

If I wasn't in a crunch to sell it but wanted to sell it, I'd probably replace the windshield and install the replacement seats, install many of the asthetic pieces I have and put $4500.00 on it. But like I said, I need to sell it.

I hope that helps, but it probably doesn't.

How many miles on engine and the rest of the truck. A buddy of mine is looking for something similar but maybe not as good shape as yours in if you want $4500. I'll talk to him though.

Oh, I almost forgot to mention, it also has a drop pitman arm. I haven't got a clue how many miles are on the truck, it looks like the instrument cluster has been swapped out. As far as the engine goes, I have the receipt in the glove box and off of the top of my head, it's 2 years old. I know the rear main doesn't leak and neither does the oil pan gasket.

The front axle is a 10 bolt, the rear a 12.

I'll post some pics right now. The paint looks better in the pics than in actuality. It looks like a black without a clear coat actually.

Sorry, I don't have any interior pics and my camera is on the fritz! The interior is what needs the most work. The cluster panel is off. I have it, but didn't want to cut it to fit the CD player since it's just a cheapie and I was going to replace it with something. The carpet is new, but some idiot stained the majority of it behind the back seat! The upholster on teh back seat is good, the front seats are terrible. I have a set of leather seats with a center console that are in decent condition. They were never installed, the guy bought them and put them in his garage! So they are dirty and one has a small tear on the bottom side (not on the seat portion) from something or another.

Other than that, it's what you see is what you get. POwer windows and locks, power brakes. E brake doesn't work and there are some odds and ends that don't work, but again, I have all of the parts.

So this isn't a perfect vehicle by any stretch of the imagination, but it's essentially 2 years old, mechanically speaking.

I want to disclose everything I know about it so there are no surprises. Basically all it lacks is some interior cosmetic work, it has a small patch of rust on the top of the tailgate (where the window rolls down), has a terrible paint job (pretty straight body), and I have enough parts to literally fill the interior of the blazer...new weather stripping, AC parts, switches, fans, instrument cluster, and a bunch of wiring harnesses and so on.

I live about an hour south of Tucson, and I'll be gone Friday and Saturday. If you'd like to take a look Sunday, let me know!

WTF?
If you delete the .jpg at the end of the address it works, but then if you add the .jpg after the other page loaded it works. Either way you can't link to them for some reason :wtf:
Take it for what it is, leave it for what it isn't.

That's strange. Just copy and paste I guess. I've never had trouble linking to that website before. Oh well.

Here are some other pics too.
