I'll be having some tech also...I'm building an 86 zuk,all yotadrivetrain,sawzalled and stretched a bit.
So far it's cut in half,trans tunnle is cut clear past the seat's,the motor ,tran's,dual cases are installed and set up into the body for a flat belly,still have a whole lot to do :D

Don't worry bout the seat/steering distance, it doesn't have any seats :scratching:

Hey, you can use that to carry a spare motor when you get seats :thumb:
