axle swap help...

ok ok i know it has probably been posted 50x before...but my computer is being gay and really slow... i wana put dana 44s under my 88 xj and found a pair from a wagoneer for a good deal...the front on the waggy was leaf and my xj is coil front...how hard is it to make all new mounts and junk??? is there a kit out there to just do it??? thanks and sorry for the post.... :zzz:

Not hard at all if you know what to do :naughty: You should be able to cut and or copy your mounts on the 30 and 35 axles and weld on the old or copied on the new 44's.

Sounds easy right?

It really is, just measure everything out twice, tack bolt up and make certain everything is correct before finish welding!
D60 rear, 60 front 3 linked, spools, 5.38's and 39.5 IROK's, auto and a little 6 banger!

There are several companies that make coil kits for TJ/XJ

Ballistic
Rubicon Express
TeraFlex
etc...
etc...

I used Ballistic brackets when I put the furd HP44 under the front of my TJ
98' TJ, 4.0, AX15, blah, blah, blah, mangled sheet metal, and rattle can paint.
