I just wanted to say thanks to everyone that kept an eye out. I ended up grabbing up *gulp* two 10-bolts (matching front and rear) for $200. All I did was replace the seals and it was good as new.
Anyway, thanks.

I'm hoping for something a little closer but I guess beggers can't be choosers. Anyone else? Any rear ends out there?

WTB: 14-Bolt or similar for 1987 Suburban

My 10-bolt just exploded and I would like to upgrade to a 14-bolt or similar rear setup. Let me know what you have, how much you want, and where it is located. I would like to get something under the truck within the next week.

It is a 1/2 ton so it has the wimpy 10 bolts front and rear. It has a few problems that I may or may not address before sale - it will be priced accordingly. These problems include a check engine light that is undetermined, a slight tranny fluid leak, and a missing rear view mirror. I'll definitely ...

Definitely interested in the truck or runner, depending on running condition...I need something that I can get in and go. The Sub is an 87' with TBI 350. It has some issues, but drives nicely. I think it needs a new cat or something, I'm getting a check engine light and my damn code thing isn't work...

As sweet as that thing is, it's more than I can afford. Maybe once I am more established at my job but certainly not now. Good luck in selling that thing, Erich, very sweet. I should have been more specific - I'd like a basic/cheap truck that I can slowly build as funds allow. BTW, anyone wantan 87'...

Toyota or Nissan truck

That's right...I want a Toyota or a Nissan. If possible, I'd like low mileage, and A/C, and a manual tranny. The Sub has got to go so I'd like to get something more economical.

Thanks everyone,

They are Xplodes.

Age is about 6 months. They sat around for a while and then I used them for about 2 months. Then they sat around for a while longer.

One of them has a cosmetic issue, a dime sized blemish on the sub. It doesn't have an effect on performance.

I put the sand blasting idea aside until I was at Sears a month or so ago. I decided to pick up the little 50 gallon tank/gun combo. It actually does a respectable but slow job. If you have a high capacity, 6+HP compressor, you should be golden. It's kind of despressing using this one on our compres...

Jeep Worth and Considerations

My buddy has a 92' YJ, I think? I don't know what the hell these things are - it has square headlights? Anywho, he recently had the 5-speed tranny "redone" by his mechanic. I don't know what was actually done, but I think he replaced the synchros and clutch. At any rate, someone tried to steal the J...

Whoops!

I noticed today that my rear diff is leaking. When I got hung up in that mini-river/stream thing, I bashed the cover a bit. Nothing a lil' bit of BFH and silicone won't fix.

You could talk to Don at MachineWorks: 624-5735.
I'd say you should tell him Patrick sent ya, but who knows.

He took a while, but did a decent job on my block.
