Re: 2nd Annual, Josh memorial run, April 10th Florence

Yep, I had a pretty serious yard sale. On the Martinez canyon there's a section some other guys were calling the chute... basically, vertical dirt wall on both sides, pretty steep decline with a little step down over a rock in the middle and the whole thing is pitched to the left... I remember pull...

Everyone has a good point here. I guess I have a soft spot for EXXON since I worked on one of their oil exploration ships once.

I bought a Honda dirt bike to commute to work and save on Diesel.

I dont blame the oil company's. They make a lot of money being the middle man. I blame our elected officilas, they would rather pay the arabs billions of dollars for oil intead of letting our oil company's drill for it locally.

That TT is sure full size friendly. I think next time I will leave the Bronco at camp and take my Super Duty tow rig instead.

I made it through with just a flat tire. It busted up quit a few rigs in our group, some had to turn around and go back. I didnt get any pictures.

I am planning to go. I want to hear from some one who has done the exreme trails. I am not braging, just asking. My truck has D60's+Lockers, 39.5" TSL's and flexy suspension. The drawback is I am 88 inches wide and weigh in at over 6000 pounds. Are there some extreme trails I should avoid? http...

I might come out Saturday.

I have not done Martinez in a couple of years. Last time I did run Martinez the trail was washed out in several places making it real scary on the climb up to the top.

What time Saturday morning do the runs takeoff?

RSVP me. What about the State Land Permit? Is it true if the run is a TRR run we will not need one?

I wanted to go this summer. TRR had one guy who wanted to go and I was the other guy willing to go, no one else. The trip was cancelled. I am willing to go. I went to Moab last year and will go again this year. I went to Black hills SD in july for 4 days of wheeling. So I am into this kind of thing....

Well I heard on the radio this morning a truck driver bitching about not being able to haul enough gas per trip to PHX. There is a gallon or weight limit and the Government has to allow truckers to fill up for the trip.

Hi Angie,

I am just taking it easy after my long trip to the BlackHills SD. When Dave Peterson called off the TRR Rubicon run I took a trip to SD for some wheeling up there wiht the 2bigbroncos club. A 3 day drive up, 4 days of wheeling and 3 day drive back. Wew! I wont be doing that again.
