Our dog had Valley Fever. The medicine was very expensive. The same medication is much less expensive in Mexico...

The Valley Fever has been in remission for a couple years now and he's doing fine.

The stupidist thing I've done is to drive into a river in 2wd thinking that the bottom was smooth. The reason it looked smooth was the silt had built up between the boulders from a strong winter runoff. By the time I realized I needed to be in four wheel drive it was too late. To make matters worse ...

One more question for folks familiar with Flag. What happened to FR 418? It cut across the woods North of the Peaks and ran between HWY 89 and the other Hwy that takes you to the Grand Canyon? We tried to find the entrance off of Hwy 89 and it wasn't there. It looks like they may have consolodated a...

I saw a guy driving down the road with his arm out the window and his wrist was bleeding big time. THe blood had soaked the towel that was wrapped around it and was dripping... Anyway this was only a few blocks from the hospital. I never even thought about him bleeding out and dieing before he made ...

Anyone been to Flag lately?

What's with all the dead Ponderosa Pine?? I started seeing it near I-40 and I-17 in patches. When we got to the Cinders I couldn't believe how many dead trees there were! What's up? Do we have an infestation or is this the result of all our dry winters??

Anyone interested in joining us? We're leaving Phoenix Friday night and returning Sunday afternoon. It's about 4.5 hrs from Phoenix, most of that is on I-10.

Check out this scenario... Tree huggers photograph wheelers with spray cans in their hands in front of a grafitti covered wall. Instant anti-wheeler ammo

Didn't see ya out there Dust. We waited until 10am. We had a bit of trouble anyway.... On the first obstacle I heard a noise like the leaf springs had shifted. I disregarded the noise and went on. On the next obstacle I heard the same noise... well this time I got under the truck to take a look. Bus...

Change of plans.... We are doing the Crown King Trail tomorrow morning. We will be at the last staging area along the Laks Pleasent access road at 9:30 am. That is the new access road to Lake Pleasent at the end of the paved road right before it turns into a T at the end.

I'll be seeing him tomorrow so I'll ask if he's up for Raw Deal again. If not maybe we could just wander around down by the river. There are lots of places to play and I haven't done that for quite a long time.

Sunday Dec 15 Table Mesa

I was hoping to run Judgement Day on Sunday, but that fell through. I haven't heard back from anyone that I invited. So, I invited a guy with a more mildly modified rig to go out and play. He has a Cherokee on 33's wtih a factory limited slip in the rear. He does have rocker protection so he is will...
